In 2017, the North Island Hospital opened its doors in the Comox Valley. This new $331.7 million, state-of-the-art, 153-bed hospital establishes the Comox Valley as a central island health care hub, and attracts business and investment in related health care services.

The Views at St. Joseph’s provides residential care and services to members of our community who can no longer live alone independently. Access to these subsidized residential care beds is coordinated through a Home and Community Care (HCC) Case Manager.
Residents are attended to by personal physicians and are provided with professional nursing, direct care giving, recreation/activation programs, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, music therapy, pastoral care, hairdressing, nutritional and social services. Our residents and their families are encouraged to make the Views their homes, so visiting hours are open and families are welcome to participate in all aspects of life on the unit.
